University of Greenwich
At the University of Greenwich, we believe in education without boundaries. When you study with us, you will be supported every step of the way, with no limits on where you come from and no limits on what you can do next.
We have won many awards, including #3 London University (StudentCrowd Awards 2024) and been rated TEF Gold for teaching and outcomes excellence (TEF 2023).
We have three fantastic campuses in south-east London and Kent. Our flagship Greenwich Campus is part of the Old Royal Naval College, rich in maritime history and home to the Prime Meridian Line. You may recognise it as a stunning location in movies and television productions, including Thor and The Crown.
Our international community is large and diverse, with 22,000 students from over 100 countries. You may be eligible for bursaries and scholarships to help manage costs, including the International Scholarship Award.
International students
The University of Greenwich provides a vibrant and welcoming environment for international students. Our three campuses are well-equipped with modern facilities, including libraries, laboratories, accommodation and sports facilities. We are a sustainable university, investing in zero carbon heating systems and fully electric vehicles for intercampus travel.
We offer comprehensive support services, including assistance with visa applications, language and financial support, as well as academic and careers advice. Our international students can also enjoy the many societies offered by our Students’ Union, including Hindu, Islamic, Indian, Middle Eastern, Tamil and Sikh societies, as well as the International Business and Intercultural Peace societies.
Off-campus, Greenwich presents a lively atmosphere with bars, restaurants and parks, as well as the world-famous O2 Arena. The market in the town centre provides art, crafts and affordable international street food. Greenwich also provides easy access to transport, enabling international students to explore the many boroughs London offers.

Stories
Through events and university societies, I was able to meet new people – international students that shared the same interests and also I started my own society with this group of people. We had the same goals and we wanted to help our community.
When I started looking for a job, I had help from the Business Employability Office. They really helped me with my CV, interviews and everything, and thanks to them I was able to find a job during my studies to support myself.
What I love about London is that it’s a metropolitan city. You can find everything here. People are from different countries, so it’s a really big community.
I really fell in love with the country, the culture and everything, so I’m planning to stay here and work. And start my career in London.
