Students on roof of Birkbeck

We take our students on transformative journeys, with a high-quality education that gets them ready for their future workplace. Our specialist courses are designed to help students develop advanced industry knowledge and practical skills that make them more employable.

Students work with over 1,000 industry and employer partners with big names like Google, the NHS and Deloitte, who offer placements, internships and networking opportunities to prepare for a global career. There are also opportunities to study on our Dubai and Mauritius campuses. Our students have access to excellent lifetime career support, including help finding part-time work.

Students are taught by expert industry leaders in our state-of-the-art facilities, with flexible learning off-campus too. Middlesex is just 25 minutes from central London so prestigious employers and an iconic social scene are close by.

International students

Choosing to study abroad is a big decision, but we don’t think there is anywhere better to be an international student than Middlesex University. With campuses also in Dubai and Mauritius, our community extends beyond London.

We’re one of the top three universities for international outlook in the UK (THE Young University Rankings 2023) with students from 121 nationalities represented on campus.

Our campus is leafy, sustainable and safe, in the best student city in the world (QS Best Student Cities 2023) and the best place to be for your career, whatever the industry. We’ve designed unique spaces for study and socialising, and offer our students the support they need to succeed, including financial advice and mental health support, no matter their backgrounds. Students will work, learn, and connect with people from around the world every day and develop the global mindset they need to create their own future careers.
